Russia is the world’s largest country, as well as the country with the most neighbouring countries (14 in total). The country’s border is the world’s longest, stretching 35,910 kilometres. Georgia, Latvia, Ukraine, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, and Belarus are all European neighbours. Ukraine’s border with Russia is the longest of the European countries, lasting for 1,196 kilometres. China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and North Korea are Asian countries that border Russia, with Kazakhstan’s border being the longest at 4,668 miles. To give you an idea of how big Russia is, it connects North Korea and Norway.
