The Awares understands how important your privacy is to you, and we take it very seriously. When you use the The Awares Platform, this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses our rules and processes for collecting, using, disclosing, and sharing your personal information.
The Awares. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “The Awares,” “we,” or “us”) are subject to this Privacy Policy. The meaning of capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy is determined by our Terms of Service.

Through the Awares Platform, we acquire information directly from individuals, from other parties, and automatically.

Accoumt And Profile Information
When you create an account and profile on The Awares Platform, we gather your name, contact information, demographic information, and any other information you submit, such as topics you are knowledgeable about or find interesting. The public and other users of the The Awares Platform will be able to see your name, photo, and any other information you choose to provide in your public-facing profile. Others will be able to see specific information about your activity on The Awares Platform, including as the questions and answers you submit, your followers and who you follow, topics of interest to you, the credentials you provide, and your updates to your profile, once you make one.. Your Content:We gather the information and content you upload to The Awares Platform, such as your questions, answers, images, and comments. Your material, date and time stamps, and all associated comments, as well as your name, are publicly available on the The Awares Platform unless you have uploaded particular content anonymously. In compliance with our Terms of Service, this may also be indexed by search engines and republished elsewhere on the Internet. See the section below on Your Options for more information on what you can alter.
Communications. We may keep a record of any conversation you have with us (whether via email, The Awares Platform, or otherwise).
Intergrated Service Provider and Linked Networks: You can link your existing The Awares account to third-party networks such as Twitter or Google (each referred to as a “Linked Network”). You can also use a Linked Network to sign in or sign up for The Awares Platform. We obtain certain profile and account information about you from the Linked Network if you choose to join up through or connect with it. These Linked Networks may also show up in your profile, allowing others to locate you on them.You and these third parties choose the particular information sent to us by Linked Networks, and it may vary by network. In all circumstances, the information being shared will be described on the Linked Network’s permissions page. You can choose to use information from your Linked Network to complete your The Awares Platform profile and to help you identify and follow your connections on the platform. You can also link to third-party networks and send and receive payments to and from (“Integrated Service Provider”); if you do, you’ll be giving us permission to send and receive your login information and other user data to and from the Integrated Service Provider for payment purposes.
Automatically Colleceted Information AboutYour Activity: We use cookies, log files, tags, and other tracking technologies to gather information about your activities on the The Awares Platform, such as your searches, page views, visit date and time, and other information. We also collect information from your computer or mobile device in conjunction with your use of The Awares Platform, such as your browser type, computer or mobile device type, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, and other similar information. The requested and referring URLs, as well as the location. Even if you do not have an account, we acquire information when you view material on or otherwise interact with The Awares Platform. See the “Cookies and Tracking” section below for further information, as well as our Cookie Policy.
Engagement: We gather information on user activity on the The Awares Platform, such as IP address and location, date and time stamp, user agent, The Awares cookie ID (if applicable), URL, unique advertising or content identifiers (if applicable), and time zone.

To customise the material and information that we transmit or display to you in the The Awares Platform, to recommend followers and content, to provide location customisation, personalised help and instructions, and to otherwise personalise your experiences while using the The Awares Platform.
Advertising. To show you interest-based advertising on The Awares Platform, to develop our advertising and measurement systems so that we can show you relevant ads, to pre-fill forms in ads, and to track the efficacy and reach of ads and services. Promotions and marketing. To send you news and bulletins, special offers, and promotions for marketing and promotional purposes,or to contact you in other ways about products or information we believe you would be interested in, such as information on third-party products and services.
Analytics. To collect metrics in order to better understand how users access and utilise The Awares Platform; to assess and enhance The Awares Platform, including Ad Services and personalisation; and to develop new goods and services.
Observe the law. To meet our legal requirements, as part of our ordinary business operations, and for other administrative needs.
Preventing Abuse When we believe it is required to investigate, prevent, or take action in connection with criminal activity, suspected fraud, circumstances involving potential threats to anyone’s safety, or violations of our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.
How We Share Your Information
We share information in the ways listed below, as well as where individuals have given their consent:

 Service Provider. We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us provide the Ad Services, such as payment processors, hosting providers, auditors, advisors, consultants, and customer service and support providers.
Affiliates:The Awares’ subsidiaries and affiliates may have access to or share the information collected about you, and their use and sharing of your personal information is governed by this Privacy Policy.

The availability of your content to non-registered visitors is known as public viewing, and it can happen when users share your content on other websites or services. Furthermore, search engines may index your content.We may charge a fee for access to your content and public information on The Awares Platform in specific situations. Metrics. We may share aggregate statistics, metrics, and other reports with our advertisers or publishers about the performance of their ads or content on The Awares Platform, such as the number of unique user views, demographics of users who saw their ads or content, conversion rates, and date and time information. Cookies. These are tiny files with a unique identity that our websites transport to your browser. They enable us to remember logged-in users, to analyse how users navigate and utilise The Awares Platform, and to provide customised content.personalization and ad targeting (including on third-party sites and applications).
Analytical Software Internal and third-party analytics technologies, such as Google Analytics, may be used. The third-party analytics businesses with which we collaborate may combine the data we acquire with data they’ve collected on their own from other websites and/or online products and services. Do-Not-Track Signals: Please note that in response to browser requests not to be monitored, we do not change system behaviour within The Awares Platform. However, as explained in the The Awares Ads and Personalization section below, you can prevent certain third-party tracking.
Third- Party Ads on The Awares
We may also work with third parties, such as network advertisers, to serve ads on the The Awares Platform and on third-party websites or other media (e.g., social networking platforms), as described in our Cookie Policy. Examples include Google AdSense (more information here) and Facebook Audience Network (more info here). To analyse the performance of their ads and other tracking technologies, these third parties may employ cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs, and other tracking technologies.

We value the safety of your personal information. To protect the information we gather, The Awares has put in place protections. However, there is no such thing as a perfectly secure website or Internet communication. When using the The Awares Platform on a shared or insecure device, we strongly advise you to choose a strong password and keep it private, as well as checking out of your user account and shutting your web browser.
Access and Amend Your Information
By login into your account, you can change or correct your account information at any time. You can also make a variety of other changes to your preferences or the way information about you is displayed, as described in greater depth in the section on Your Options that follows.
Your Choices
You may, of course, refuse to disclose information through The Awares Platform, in which case we may be unable to provide you with some services. You can also change the types of notifications and communications you receive from us, limit the information about you that is shared on The Awares Platform, and change other privacy settings. Here’s some more information on a few of your options:
Your Content: Certain types of information, such as questions and answers, can be posted anonymously. In this case, your name will not appear alongside the article, and The Awares will not link the content to your user ID or other profile information.It’s all about you. You have complete control over the answers you post. You can edit or delete them at any time. Any questions you submit may be saved on The Awares Platform and amended by other users. Any deleted content will be removed from third-party sites where it was shared using The Awares’ regular sharing options; however, we have no control over manual deletions or changes to your content. Other users will be able to see the history of your edits in your profile activity and on content edit logs if you make changes to your content.
Adult Content: You can choose whether or not to receive explicit content in your profile’s privacy settings.
Emails and Communicat:Emails and Communicat As part of the service, when you sign up for an account or create a profile on The Awares Platform, you will receive the The Awares digest, which contains content that we believe matches your interests. In your account profile settings, under Emails and Notifications, you may manage your email and notification selections. We may still send you transactional emails concerning your account or any services you have requested or received from us if you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other material we think may be of interest to you.
Third parties may leave comments on your The Awares Platform postings. Under Privacy Settings in your profile,You can choose whether or not you want people to be able to leave comments on your answers and posts. On the Awares Platform, you can also change your permissions for who can send you messages.
Followers. You can disable another The Awares user’s ability to follow you by selecting the appropriate setting in the other user’s profile. You have the option of following or unfollowing other users.
Topics. You can alter the topics you follow or the areas of knowledge listed in your profile.
Credentials. You can update the credentials that appear in your profile or in relation to a specific answer.

Indexed Search. You can choose whether or not search engines index your profile and name in your privacy settings. Changes to privacy settings may only apply going ahead; for example, if your name (e.g., responses and profile) has already been indexed by search engines, it may stay indexed for a period of time even after you have turned off indexing, as we have no influence over applying this change.
Delete or Deactivated Account. If you select “Delete Account” from your profile’s “Privacy Settings,” all of your content will be erased from public view on The Awares Platform, and we may not be able to restore it if you change your mind.If you select “Deactivate Account,” you will no longer get communications from us and users will be unable to engage with you; nevertheless, your material will remain on The Awares Platform. You can revive your account at any moment by opting to log in after deactivating it.

LInked Networks. Through the Account Settings tab of your profile settings, you can link or disconnect your Linked Networks, such as Google, and you can access, update, and remove much of your personal information. If you disconnect a Linked Network, we will no longer get information from that Linked Network until you reconnect it. You can also choose whether or not the Linked Network appears in your profile.
Transferring Your Data
The Awares is based in the United States, although it has operations, companies, and service suppliers all over the world. As a result, we and our service providers may move or access your personal information outside jurisdictions (including the United States) that may not provide equal standards of data protection. We’ll take steps to guarantee that your personal information is protected adequately in the jurisdictions where it’s processed.

 Children’s Privacy

We do not intentionally collect or request personal information from children under the age of 13 or allow them to register. If we learn that we have obtained personal information from a child under the age of consent without parental authorization, we take steps to remove it.

There may be links to third-party websites or online services on The Awares Platform. We are not liable for the actions of such third parties, whose data collection and use is governed by their own policies and processes, not by this Privacy Policy.
Your California Privacy Rights Under California’s Shine-the-Light Law. you have certain privacy rights. California law allows users who live in California to request and receive a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for direct marketing purposes in the previous calendar year, as well as the types of personal information disclosed to those parties, once a year, free of charge. The Awares Ads and Personalization
Based on information acquired via the The Awares Platform, we may display personalised content (including from third-party publishers) and personalised adverts (including sponsored content).

Your Choices

Anonymous Posts. Certain types of information, such as questions and answers, can be posted anonymously. In this case, your name will not appear alongside the article, and The Awares will not link the content to your user ID or other profile information.

Your Content. You have complete control over the answers you post. You can edit or delete them at any time. Any questions you submit may be saved on The Awares Platform and amended by other users. Any deleted content will be removed from third-party sites where it was shared using The Awares’ regular sharing options; however, we have no control over manual deletions or changes to Your Content. Other users will be able to see the history of your updates in your profile activity and on content edit logs if you make changes to Your Content.
Adult Content. You can choose whether or not to receive explicit content in your profile’s privacy settings.
Emails and Communications. Emails and other forms of communication As part of the service, when you sign up for an account or create a profile on The Awares Platform, you will receive the The Awares digest, which contains content that we believe matches your interests. In your account profile settings, under Emails and Notifications, you may manage your email and notification selections. We may still send you transactional e-mails concerning your account or any services you have requested or received from us if you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other material we believe may be of interest to you.
Third parties may leave comments on your The Awares Platform postings. Under Privacy Settings in your profile,You can choose whether or not you want people to be able to leave comments on your answers and posts. On the Awares Platform, you can also change your permissions for who can send you messages.
Followers. You can disable another The Awares user’s ability to follow you by selecting the appropriate setting in the other user’s profile. You have the option of following or unfollowing other users.
Topics. You can alter the topics you follow or the areas of knowledge listed in your profile.
Credentials. You can update the credentials that appear in your profile or in relation to a specific answer.
Indexed Search. You can choose whether or not search engines index your profile and name in your privacy settings. Changes to privacy settings may only be effective going forward; for example, if you change your name, it may only be effective going forward (e.g., answers and profile)Because the implementation of this change is outside of our control, content that has already been indexed by search engines may stay indexed for a period of time after you have switched off indexing.
Deleted or Deactivated Accounts. If you choose Delete Your Account in your privacy settings, all of Your Content will be erased from public view on The Awares Platform, and we may not be able to recover it if you change your mind. If you opt to Deactivate Your Account, you will no longer get communications from us and users will be unable to engage with you; nevertheless, Your Content will remain on The Awares Platform. You can revive your account at any moment by opting to log in after deactivating it.
